Lovely little book. I have read Hayden Herrera's biography of Frida Kahlo (the best) and also have 'Self Portrait in a Velvet Dress'. I purchased this small but mighty book based on the illustrations alone (I am a graphic artist) - though found it a pretty concise biography as well. Frida-philes will be happy to add this to their collection.

The sex scenes are ok not the best details. My biggest let down with this series is the fact that until the this book you don't truly find out it is a pirate themed series. The second part of it that is a let down is the fact that ok so now it is a pirate themed series, but other then being on a boat nothing major has happened. They might as well be living in a house rather then being on a boat. I should ask for my money back but that would be a disservice to other readers cause then I would not have the right to really post this review.

Good selection, TERRIBLE prices

Let me start by saying I am a loyal viewer of TCM, and I think they have done more for classic cinema than any other channel ever has. It pleases me that the company puts out a massive catalogue such as this once a year, with a ton of classic releases. It's roughly a thousand pages worth of content!

But the prices in here are TERRIBLE! Go to any internet store (Amazon comes to mind since you're already there if you're reading this) and you'll find prices much better than you'd find in this catalogue. The fact that you have to actually purchase the catalogue only adds insult to injury. How difficult would it have been for TCM to offer their merchandise at the same prices Amazon offers? If they did, this might be a worthwhile investment. These are MSRP prices and higher. Selection is nothing if the prices are terrible and you can get all this stuff on a site like Amazon anyway.

Long story short, I'm glad TCM makes a catalogue like this, but it's pointless since you can get all these movies on Amazon already for much better prices.
